On October 16, “World Food Day,” established in 1981 by the FAO – Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, was chosen to also celebrate the long-standing relationship Ceres has maintained since 1915 with the railway and trains, through which it received the cereals it processes.
With the aim of drawing the attention of railway enthusiasts to this strong and affectionate connection of Ceres with the Porto and its people, and combining the knowledge of flour milling with the taste of bread, the Better Foods Group will provide, right at the train station and for those who start their day using Campanhã station, the delightful experience of tasting an excellent bread made by traditional Porto bakeries with Better Foods’ products.
The initiative, supported by Infraestruturas de Portugal, which opened the doors of Campanhã station, aims to contribute to the nutritional value of bread in the portuguese diet.
